ERW Structure Pipe

Introduction

ERW Structural Pipe is an abbreviation for electric resistance welded steel pipe. The pipes are made of steel coils with welds parallel to the pipes. It is one of the most versatile tools in agricultural, industrial and construction activities. The manufacturing process of ERW steel pipe includes HFW. ERW welding includes low, medium and high-frequency welding. It is a kind of pipeline widely used in petroleum, natural gas, gas, machinery, construction, aviation, electric power, and other industries.

Features

ERW structural pipe is made from a single piece of metal with no seams on the surface. It adopts the pressure welding method without filler metal, and no other components are filled in the welding seam. The skin effect and proximity effect of high-frequency current make the edge of the plate instantly heat to the welding temperature so that the weld seam is formed by extrusion by the extrusion roller. High-quality steel pipes require heat treatment of the weld to refine the structure of the weld zone. 

The outer diameter of the ERW Structural Pipe is 21.3mm-610mm, and the wall thickness is 1mm-22mm. Also, its length varies from 0.5mtr to 20mtr. You can choose from three types of terminals, so it is more versatile.
